Today we continued with our music video. I got a lot done, arranging the final clips in order and deleting the ones I didn’t need. I did a lot of moving clips around and changing audio levels, this was because I was trying to get the audio at the right level that it would be easy to hear while not being overbearing. The only things I have left to do concerning the Music video will be adding some transitions in and uploading it.
Today we started to make our music videos. We used Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to cut out parts of the footage we didn’t want. We used the levels to change how loud the audio was and how easy it was to see the video. I used a Youtube Downloader to get the footage that I needed to create the video. With a little more work I should be able to complete it,
Today we found video and audio online in order to start making our music video, many people in the class are recording their own footage however I am using a compilation of game footage to create a Game Music Video or GMV. My GMV will be based off of the video game series Dead Space. I will be using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to make it.
Today we were introduced to Photoshop. We were taught how to use some of the basic tools such as the Quick Selection tool, Text tool and Magic Wand tool. We were given a basic task to use the Quick Select and Magic wand tool to remove the background of an image. We also had to resize the image to better fit the page.
We also learnt about resolution and other things like that, such as the fact that DPI stands for Dots per inch, or Pixels per inch.
Today we finished the Welcome Quiz, I think it turned out quite well but there are a few areas that I think could be improved. A few of the cuts were not as clean as I would have liked. The audio levels could also have been a bit better as there were times when the music seemed to slightly drown out the audio. Some of the transitions were also in places that I wasn’t too keen of. However overall I think that it turned out rather well, I think that most of the information was given well, and that despite a few mishaps overall the audio and video quality was reasonably good.
